1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, software development kits, pixels and device identifiers. The native MAUDE app does not rely on browser cookies in the same way as the website; app storage and permissions are covered by the Privacy Policy.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
These are required to authenticate users, protect forms, maintain secure sessions, remember privacy choices, route traffic and operate requested website functions. They may be used without optional consent where the law permits because the service cannot work properly without them.
3. Preference technologies
Preference technologies may remember language, market, accessibility and display choices. They are used only where appropriate and can normally be removed through browser settings.
4. Analytics
With consent where required, MAUDE may use analytics to understand page visits, referral sources, general device information, errors and aggregated usage trends. Analytics must not be activated before the required consent is obtained.
5. Marketing technologies
MAUDE does not use behavioural advertising technologies unless they are specifically disclosed in the live cookie settings and activated only after valid consent where required.
6. Your choices
The cookie interface must provide accessible options to accept, reject or customise optional technologies. Consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to view, delete, block or limit cookies and local storage. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent login, secure forms or other requested features from working.
8. Live cookie inventory
The production Cookie Settings interface should list each technology’s name, provider, category, purpose, first- or third-party status and retention period. The live inventory takes precedence if a technical detail changes after this policy is published.
9. Updates
This policy may be updated when providers, technologies, purposes or legal requirements change. Material changes to optional cookie use may require renewed consent.
