This Found · A House of Atmosphere

This Found / The studio

Built by making. Always in motion.

This Found is the working space behind NKD APE, BYSIPS, ATELIET and KOCO—a place where tea, fragrance, objects, images and retail experience are allowed to inform one another.

This Found studio atmosphere.

Our world

Four brands began as four different questions.

How can fragrance live closer to the skin? What makes tea feel rooted and contemporary? How can scent change the way a room is remembered?

The answers did not become one brand. They became a house in which different ideas could keep their own voice.

Kathryn Brown & Ole Johnsen

Two points of view. One practice shaped over time.

Kathryn brings Taiwanese tea heritage and a deep relationship with flavour, ritual and hospitality. Ole brings years of experience in the Scandinavian market, product development, packaging and brand building.

Together, their work moves between the sensory and the practical—from the first idea to the object, the image, the shelf and the relationship that follows.

Between places

Taiwan in the cup. Scandinavia in the way things take form.

Different traditions meet without being flattened into one aesthetic. Knowledge of tea, scent and hospitality is translated through a quieter visual language and products designed to be used, lived with and returned to.

The work

An idea passes through many forms before it finds its place.

The disciplines change from brand to brand. The attention does not.

01

Material

Tea, fragrance, wax, glass, paper and image each bring their own possibilities and limits.

02

Form

Product development and packaging shape how an object is held, opened, poured, worn or lit.

03

Voice

Each brand receives its own language, rhythm and reason for being.

04

Relationship

Retailers and customers complete the work through use, conversation and return.

What stays constant

Not one house style. One standard of attention.

01

Sensory intelligence

Begin with what is felt before it is explained.

02

Useful beauty

Let the object and the ritual earn their place in everyday life.

03

Long relationships

Build for materials, favourite products, retailers and customers that return.

Still becoming

The house is not finished. That is the point.

New forms can enter without erasing what came before. This Found keeps moving by staying attentive.
